Inspired
by the example of Pope John Paul II in adding an "ecumenical" chaplet to
the Most Holy Rosary of the Blessed
Virgin Mary, Pharsea has decided to propose five Gay Mysteries. These
are:
St Michael Archangel,
defend us in this day of battle.
Be our safeguard
against the wickedness and snares of the devil.
May God rebuke him, we humbly pray.
Do thou, prince of the heavenly host,
by the power of God thrust down to Hell
Satan, and all wicked spirits
who wander the world
for the ruin of souls.
The
Healing of the Centurion's boy [Mat 8: 5-13; Lk 7:1-10; Jn 4:46-54]
The
Answering of the Rich Young Ruler [Mt 19:16-30; Mk 10:17-22; Lk 18:18-30]
The
Raising from the Dead of Lazarus [Jn 11:1-44]
The
Last Supper [Mt 26:26-30; Jn 13:1-35]
The
Kiss of Judas [Mt 26:47-56; Lk 22:47-53; Jn 18:1-14; Acts 1:18,19]Hail Holy Queen, Mother of Mercy.
Hail our life, our sweetness and our hope!
To thee do we cry, poor banished children of Eve.
To thee do we send up our sighs,
mourning and weeping in this vale of tears.
Turn then, most gracious advocate,
thine eyes of mercy towards us,
and after this our exile,
show unto us the blessed fruit of thy womb,
Jesus.
O clement, O loving, O sweet Virgin Mary.
